NEW WAYS TO LEARN SCIENCES: VIRTUAL LABS

Along the school year, the students at our School carry out different experiments and practices in our laboratories. However, this year, due to the exceptional situation we are experiencing and in order to comply with sanitary measures, we have adapted turned the experience in the physical lab to a virtual environment.

There is a wide range of applications that we can use in science subjects. One of them is the CHEMIST app, where we can find a wide variety of laboratory material and substances in all states (solid, liquid or gas). Thanks to this app, students can emulate some simple reactions or experiments and its result is quite similar to reality.

PHET simulators are also very practical in Science classes, since they have many applications in all fields of the subject and allow measurements of several magnitudes.

Virtual labs are an excellent educational and technological tool that make it possible for our students to discover how exciting Science is in a safe and fun way.
