Library

The Library and Multimedia Center in our School is an area designed to help students and teachers access a series of bibliographic, audiovisual and electronic resources that can help them in their research. It is also a place for teachers to bring their students to use the equipment, and a place where students can take out a book to read in their spare time.

The aim of the School Library is to provide the students with the adequate tools to carry out their work, making it possible for students to access the latest sources of information. We try to have our students acquire the necessary skills for the research of information at School, so when they go to University or enter the labor market, they take with them both knowledge and the ability to source information, which will help students update, filter and renew their knowledge, thus fulfilling the needs of today’s competitive world.

The Library’s offers offers twelve computers, a multimedia projector, a digital board, a laser printer, a scanner, a digital camera and a digital video camera.

With these resources, the Library offers a complement—matching the needs of the present day—to facilitate student work and student research. Nevertheless, books remain the essential element in the Library, and it would be a mistake to forget about them or not to promote their use because we have been carried away by the appeal or the help provided by technology.

Besides this primary function, the modern equipment also makes it possible for teachers to use this area to prepare dynamic presentations and lectures with visual aids.

The Library also has a collection of works of universal literature available to students and families. Books can be checked out with the Student Card.
